Be the Movement

While our lives may look different, our mission remains the same.

Following the Holy Spirit, we exist to create a movement of disciple-making disciples, in RDU and around the world. By God’s grace, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, that movement has not ceased moving.

Find all you need to know below about how to worship with us in home gatherings, in person at our campuses, and online.

While we know that people have different comfort levels during this time, it is our desire to provide opportunities for people to gather and worship together in safe environments as they are able.

Home Gatherings

The primary way we will reach people in this season is by inviting others from our communities to join us in home gatherings.

A Summit home gathering is a weekly meeting of Summit members and guests, in homes, where we worship Jesus through singing, teaching, and fellowship with one another, in order to make disciple-making disciples in RDU and around the world.

Find a Home Gathering

There are two streaming options for home gatherings to engage with the service:

  1. On Demand | Posted on YouTube by Saturday at Noon

YouTube is the best platform for watching on demand, as it’s the easiest to access on any Smart TV, computer, or phone. Worship with your home gathering at any time during the weekend according to your group’s availability.

  2. Livestream | Sundays at 9 and 11 a.m. on live.summitchurch.com and Facebook

You may also tune into live services on Sunday mornings, where we have online hosts who would love to interact with and pray for you.

Campus Gatherings

We know that for the church, not gathering is not an option. And while home gatherings will be the primary way we gather for weekend services, we’ve designed some strategic opportunities for larger campus gatherings that follow guidelines for health and safety.

  • Thursday Worship Services | For Thursday evenings in October, we’ll be hosting one indoor service at 7 p.m. at all of our permanent locations.

In order to create as safe a space as possible for your family at these Thursday gatherings, space will be limited and available by RSVP. These will be family-friendly, shorter services with no Summit Kids or Summit Students programming.

  • October Worship Nights (all-church) | In addition to Thursday gatherings for services, we’ll be hosting two outdoor, all-church October worship nights on Saturday, Oct. 10 at the Apex campus at 4 and 6 p.m., and Saturday, October 24 at the Capital Hills campus at 4 and 6 p.m.

  • Campus-specific Gatherings | In addition to Thursday worship services and October worship nights, some Summit campuses may be doing other gatherings.
